Programming Language

What is a programming language? What is a programming paradigm? Is there a silver bullet ? Will there be a domain specific language interpreter? that will evolve a domain specific syntax and semantics, as the programmer starts stating the problem space? As the programmer states the general aspects and gets more specific, will a compiler be able to evolve a language for those aspects?
